27 JUNE 2014: OFFSITE ROAD IMPROVEMENTS COMMENCE AT WALLACE'S DROVE

RES has begun gearing up for construction of the 13 turbine Wryde Croft Wind Farm. The first phase will involve the closure of Wallace's Drove from 7th July 2014 for up to 10 weeks.

The closure of the single track road, which leads off the B1176 (New Cut Road) to Scolding Drove to the north east of Thorney, has been agreed with Peterborough City Council and will enable essential improvement works, including road widening and repositioning of some services, to take place in advance of construction starting at the Wryde Croft Wind Farm in the autumn.
