LOCAL JOBS
A number of local companies and local people were involved in the delivery of Wryde Croft Wind Farm, fulfilling RES' commitment to use local contractors where services and supplies meet requirements.
For example, R G Carter Civil Engineering, a specialist civil engineering company operating in the East Midlands, led the off-site road improvement works and then went on to win the £5 million main construction contract for the wind farm itself (read the story here).
